Great video, poor craftmanship. Sorry
Realy nice job! Big brazilian hug for you!
What type of paint do you use? Great work btw.
sorrybout that. the web site is down for the moment. we are working on a new one and it should be up by the beginning of january. you can still find us on ebay under great lakes toilet seat
tried logging onto the site but it couldnt be found any ideas why?
the wood filler is a golden oak color. it stains up rather nicely with the colonial maple stain color so it is very dificult to see the filled cracks after it dries. I fill in the areas where the router or dremel cut thru the glue seam. sometimes this can chip out some wood that is rather noticable if left alone. the woodfiller corrects this. I also hear bondo works on large pieces if you intend on painting it. ( bondo does not blend in with the wood color very well)
I love it. What is the wood filler used for? Could you explain that part?
I just love your Toucans. You make it look so easy.
wow thats sweet
V-tools work well to outline the shape your going for…I mostly carve with power tools so I just plow right in with a square (90 degree) bit in my flex shaft /dremel tool. I have several dremel tools set up with several differant sized bits when Im working. So I dont have to change bits as often. The router helps make short work by setting the background..but you dont have to rely on it exclusively.
hey can you tell me how to do paring cut, basic cut and push cut, stop cut, score line?
