Hi, I have low flow toilets & one of them drains slowly & occasionally smells(!). Will the toilet auger go far enough to break up accumulation in the outflow, or do I have to dismantle the whole thing?

    John, thanks for your video.

I have a question for you, please. I have repeated toilet blockages secondary to a)a toilet with a small opening (according to a plumber who wanted to sell me a toilet with a much larger one and b) a low-priced auger that I have been using that sometimes does not work. Henceforth, I had to call the plumber. He showed up with an auger that was a commercial type that was much longer than the one you’ve used. Is the one you have the best for home use? Suggestions?

My toilet clogged up BADLY the other day and I had to go get one of these since I only had the stupid suction cup plunger which was really a sink plunger. I had to do it twice to undo the poop clog but the poop got caught INSIDE the fat tip of the auger…..so I had a field day cleaning the auger. Other than it being a bitch to clean, the auger is something every household should have.

good vid.. i tried this b4 but i sucked at it so it didnt work .. i called a plumber.. a decent neybohood guy .. 40$ compared to a plumber quote 150.

I have . or had a clogged toilet right now..
im at my gf place.. and shes asleep..
however it wasnt a bad clog.. just a small one i guess. like it was draining slowly.

so i just kept pouring jugs of hot water in it.. i think its cleared now.. after about 30 mins of doing this

My cousin and I just saved a 200$ Plumber on a Sunday fee. We went out and bought a 10$ auger, watched your video and are saved!!! Thanks sir! I really need a explicit step by step approach when it comes to DIY!

Very helpful video. Thanks a lot. Picked up a toilet auger for $8 and change, followed your instructions and it got the job done.

Great video! Thanks for making such a thorough and instructive video. I think that since this is only the first time I’ve had a blockage like this that I will hire a plumber, but if it happens a second time, I’m shelling out the $50 for an auger.
