Besides, you can’t dehumanize something that’s not human. And pre-born, unborn, embryo, potato, potatoe, yadda yadda, (zzzzzz). I’ll say contents of the uterus all day long. Why do people even care about the contents of a woman’s uterus? Why do they make it their business? I guess they’re a mother of a dead mass of cells that had the potential to be a person. Why don’t we focus on the welfare of the people already here instead of “protecting” embryos that may or may not become people?
And why is that? Just because it’s LEGAL to end the life of a gestating human being getting ready for full life? A woman is a mother no matter what. Abortion makes a woman the mother of a dead baby. The woman has a child; just a dead child. Birth happens no matter what, only question is do you want a LIVING baby, or a DEAD baby? The woman’s offspring is existent when she’s pregnant. She has offspring; which makes her a mother. What’s so hard to comprehend that concept?

I still wouldn’t consider myself a mom until the baby is born, but that’s just me.
The unborn child has parents. The parents created offspring. Their child exists, therefore they’re parents already. They’re not taking care of the child like they’ll take care of him/her once birth, but they’re still parents. You have parents that made you, I have parents that made me, babies have parents that made them.
I don’t personally think that. They wouldn’t say “I’m a mommy to be.” then. If I have children, I’ll say I’m a mommy-to-be until I have the baby.
