   All the debate over whether or not he ia hallucinating while trying to find the suppositories is missing the point, which was made at the start of the comments. It’s irrelevant what he’s on. The diving into the john and swimming is a cinematic use of surrealism to convey an idea, ergo, that he would swim through filth to retrieve the suppositories that help him shit, since he’s constipated from the junk (common side effect of opiates).

For those who ask “does the fact he’s soaking wet when ge gets home mean he actually dived into the toilet?” Umm, no, it doesn’t.
