    I think you did a good job, but mootbooxle was trying to keep it as simple as possible

    I’m sure almost anyone could improve on his design

    he did that because the big speaker box was the passive one (no amplification involved), so hi needed amplification.

    why is it that u take the big speaker out the box and put it connected to the small speaker box…could u not just take the big speaker out and just use that box?>

    the sounds from the speaker that are trapped in the plunger go up the tube and go out the tube. and you put the tube in your mouth and make your mouth smaller for lower noises and make it bigger for louder noises pretty much.
    its like talking without talking. so you can say hello and press the right keys on the synthesizer and it would sound pretty daft punk like =DD
