oh man, anyone who’s eco-aware and saw this has probably already torn up the bathroom floor. if we could get some toilet-pigs from the hardware store we’d be completely off the grid and save a lot of water

And what animal would that be? The human animal, or animals such as dogs sheep and deer? Its proven that some animals grieve for their dead babies, such as the elephant for one example. I know my dog loved me and other dogs. Man are you ignorant.

Animals DO have feelings – studies (including studies by people who are NOT advocates of vegetarianism) have shown this. Just look in google for starters then do more research. They feel pain and many species form the same kinds of family bonds as us. If you want to eat meat then it’s your choice, but please don’t try to justify it by saying animals don’t feel

I am only justifying eating an animal that was hunted, because you must admit that it is natural to eat other animals, it is the circle of live, and we are omnivorous.
However, I do agree that modern farming is unnatural and i do not justify eating an animal that was produced in that way.
P.S. I do apologise for the use of the word produced, it was used for wont of a better one, as i do also know thatanimals have feelings, happiness, sorrow and even depression.

I don’t believe I mentioned EATING an animal… just a guess, but I think the fact you wrote that comment nert means you felt you had to justify eating something which is not only NOT natural to eat but also harms the environment and, of course, the animal as well as being very unhealthy, to say the least

i think that to eat another animal is ok, we are omnivores, and therefore it is natural for us to eat meat, thats nature.
However, yes it is true that farming is unnatural, no other animal does it, therefore i think it is this that is wrong.

Animals don’t have emotional feelings, they just have instincts

Compared to modern farming methods, perhaps it’s not so bad, but it’s definitely not good. Animals have feelings like the rest of us

idyllic existence? You try being used as currency, being that thin due to lack of nourishment, and eventually slaughtered, then start using the word properly. Ta.
